Office 365 – Core Visio functionalities are now available on Office 365 at no cost

Microsoft has added core Visio functionalities to any Office 365 commercial plan at no additional cost.

The Visio features come as a web application allowing your end-users to create, edit and share Visio diagrams.

This does not replace the existing Visio subscription plans which provide more advanced capabilities.

The deployment is under way and is expected to be completed by January 2022.

Once available, you will have the new Visio application available in your application launcher.

You can also (already available now) connect to http://visio.office.com/ to immediately start enjoying this new capability on Office 365.

After signing on with your corporate account, you will be able to start creating and sharing Visio diagrams
