Outlook–Your signature is being roamed and saved in your mailbox

This has been a very awaited feature: getting your Outlook signature roaming across your devices. In fact it has been waited since the first release of Exchange server.

Well, good news, this is now becoming available.

The below screenshot shows you the previous interface to manage your signature

Now, once you got the appropriate version of Outlook (mine is set to Office Insider so please be patient if you don’t see it yet – it is expected to be available in late November), the interface will let you define the signature to use, either the roamed one or on the device

This will make your signature available across your different devices running Outlook client without having to copy them from a device to another.

NOTE if you are using a third party signature solution (like Exclaimer), you must not use the feature (switch the option to Signature on this device). If you are in this situation, your administrator can deploy a specific registry key to block the roaming signature feature.

It is expecting an API is becoming available to allow third party solution to work with the roaming signature capability.
