Teams – You can now set an update policy to match the Office update channel

As you now, Office apps has various update channel to let you manage how Office apps are being updated.

Well, Teams now allows you to define a policy to follow the Office update channels or to register for preview channel.

This does not impact the current Office channel setting and if you have users already registered in the Teams Technology Adoption Program (TAP), they will not be impacted.

To configure this policy, logon to your Teams administration portal (https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/) and reach the Teams\Update policies blade to edit/create existing update policy

NOTE the policy is set to On (aka Follow Office Preview) by default
